My friend

If you were my friend

I’d write you little letters
and leave them for you to find
in strange and unexpected places.

I’d force you to watch chick flicks
and laugh at the angst and dorky.
That permeates each laughing moment.

I’d make you sit with me
as I sit in the dark looking at stars
and howling happily at the moon.

I’d take you on a picnic
read books while lying still
engrossed in our comfortable silence.

I’d make you walk with me
through fields of grass
breathing in the joy of living.

If you were my friend
you’d never doubt your worth
not for one second, one minute, one day.

You are worthy of love.
Wanna be my friend?

    1. Absolutely!! I just finished a very weird and thought provoking book called The Harvest. It is Sci-fi book about what would happen if God suddenly came to earth to bring his children to heaven and what ramifications that kind of realization would have on the world’s dynamics.. It has a lot of Philosophical questions. My head is way happy with the many bends this book takes.
