Every year at Christmas, I play this song. I cry like a small child every single time. I’m not ashamed to admit it. It tells me I am still hopeful and human. This year it hits harder and, to be honest, finding out I’m not the only one who’s connecting to it makes me cry harder. The world is facing its fragility. My hope remains tied up in my childlike memory. My childlike trust is still in there and I hope with all my heart, that we find our way back to connection with one another. Humanity needs compassion and love, always love.
