The unconservative Capricorn

Capricorns are often categorized as “Conservative” by astrology..but, I’m here to challenge that!

Conservative is defined thusly:

“averse to change or innovation and holding traditional values.”

I call bullshit! What Capricorn’s ARE is interested in protecting those they adopt as belonging to them. Traditional USE to mean family, home, and security..but, I promise you! I’m not, in any way, interested in being the “Conservative” being touted in the media these days by the Republican party.

Want a look under my hood?

My son is Trans. I have never had to work to “accept” this notion. I actually thought he was gay since he was 4 and was excitedly anticipating the moment he finally told me so I could shout “I knew before you did!”. He informed me rather sassily, that he’s Pansexual AND Trans. My devotion to my son has no minimum. He doesn’t have to meet requirements. He is loved because he exists, that’s it! He is, so I loves. My heart doesn’t have locks others must pick or answer riddles to enter. They simply need to knock politely and treat my heart home respectfully.

My views on sexual equality didn’t come as a result of Z.. they existed long before Z came along. As a Capricorn, accepting people as themselves is just basic common sense. Regardless of what a person is to others, they must 100% be at truth with themselves. Truth, to a Capricorn, is God. Truth matters more than love and only slightly less, on the scale, than integrity.

I am NOT against abortion. You cannot convince me that a baby’s life is more important than the life of the person carrying that baby. We place a lot of importance on the unborn as opposed to the born. Once a child is born those protective voices go eerily silent. They didn’t care about the born child, they care about the unborn child, why? Because unborn serves as a symbol of purity, something that people have convinced themselves matters more than the eternal soul. That’s placing the living body’s virginity on a high shelf. I find that disturbing because it breeds pedophilia.

The body dies, the soul lives eternally. The body exists only to carry the soul as it experiences life and connection.

Just because a child isn’t born, doesn’t mean the child’s soul is wasted. My belief is that abortion frees the soul to find a family ready to love it and welcome them into life. By forcing birth we force that soul to settle for less than it deserves. The body is just flesh, and flesh isn’t as important. Bodies break down over time. We aren’t meant to be eternally bonded to the flesh. To force a woman to give birth to a child she doesn’t want, is to sentence 2 souls to an unhappy future. The mother will resent the child, the child will grow up without enthusiastic love. Lose-lose.

My personality leans towards innovation and improvement. I want a better world for people. Connection and acceptance. Wisdom and learning. Celebration and community.

As a Capricorn, my commitment is to family. All kinds. Diversity in connection is vital to the future of our people. We need many viewpoints to find solutions. We need many perspectives to see the problems needing correction. If we have no diversity, we become flawed in our inability to see differently. We miss opportunity and become blind to things we only see with the same eyes.

I’m tomorrow’s Capricorn. I’m not conservative. I’m very much about roots and connection.. I’m about global family.
